** SIGNATURE FUZZ + BOOST **
Two circuits, one box.

The Stubbs pairs the 1967 silicon fuzz specification at the heart of our rite'67 — held exactly as it was originally built, no corrections, no revisions — with a transparent boost. Two independent circuits in a single enclosure, each on its own true-bypass footswitch, built for the tight, immediate attack that roots, blues and garage-rock players need on tap.

** THE ORIGIN **
Built with Matt Stubbs (GA-20).

Matt Stubbs plays guitar in GA-20, a band built around vintage blues tones played loud and direct. He loved the rite'67, and a transparent boost is a cornerstone of his sound — so we put both in one box. Matt used the prototype to record GA-20's new album, as featured in Premier Guitar's Rig Rundown with GA-20, filmed in Nashville.

** CONTROLS **

FX 1 — rite'67 Fuzz (right footswitch)

  • Depth: Blends the two silicon stages against each other — from a thin, gated, upper-mid bite to a thick, sustaining fuzz.
  • Volume: Output level of the fuzz, from below unity to a hard push into your amp.
  • Circuit switch (Original / Hi Gain): Original is the 1967 circuit as built. Hi Gain lifts the load on the second stage for more gain, sustain and output.

FX 2 — Booster (left footswitch)

  • Gain: Transparent boost from a subtle lift to roughly +25 dB — enough to drive a vintage amp, or the fuzz, into breakup.
  • Resonance switch (3 positions): Center is flat. The two outer positions load the input like a vintage pickup, shifting its resonant peak — one warmer and rounder, one brighter and more vocal.

** FOUR JACKS: ONE PEDAL OR TWO **

The Stubbs has IN, SEND, RETURN and OUT jacks. SEND and RETURN are switched (normalled) jacks:

  • As one pedal: Guitar into IN, OUT to your amp. The fuzz feeds the booster internally — no patch cable needed.
  • Effects loop: Patch any pedal between SEND and RETURN to place it between the fuzz and the boost.
  • Reverse the order: Guitar into RETURN, OUT to IN, SEND to your amp — the booster now hits the fuzz first.
  • As two pedals: Use each half on its own, anywhere on your board.

** SPECS **

  • Power: 9V DC, center negative (standard 2.1 mm Boss-style plug). Low current draw. No battery.
  • Two true-bypass footswitches, one LED per circuit.
  • Enclosure: hand-drilled, painted and screen-printed in our workshop.

Handmade in Madrid, in small numbers, like the rest of the SÚPER line.
